I called the Enforcement and Removal Operations office (415-844-5512) since I don’t live in California. I spoke to an actual agent, not a recording. I identified myself and said that I don’t believe that Jose Librojo should be deported on Monday since he has a case pending. The agent responded that Jose still has to show up at the airport on Monday and by then they will be able to decide what they are going to do with his case. I repeated that I am calling in support of Jose being able to stay while his case is resolved. So if lots of people call and put pressure on this agent (I didn’t catch his name), it may persuade a change in deportation status.

Honorable Senator Feinstein:

I humbly request your compassionate and committed assistance to ensure that JB Librojo, Alien Registration number, A073956802, be allowed to remain in the United States and continue his education past Pre-Med to be the caring Dentist he dreams to become. He has been in the U.S. for 16 years and in that time has forwarded his education, provided a home for his immediate family. Without his subsistence, his family will lose their home and an integral family member. JB is not only a provider, but is an inspiration to younger family members to work hard and follow their dreams.

Unfortunately, it appears JB is being asked by ICE to purchase a return only ticket to the Philippines for Monday, November 21, 2011, out of SFO and to report to the airport.

How can this be? It leaves me speechless that JB cannot remain despite the many aliens that are within these United States who manipulate and do not abide by our laws, yet are allowed to remain.

JB is an inspiration and an empowering force to other Americans. I emplore you, Senator, to use whatever resources and influence you have to look into and assure JB is given due process to address the concerns that ICE has before escorting him out of the only country he’s known for 16 years. As a California Resident and a federal employee, I am aware of the empowering and fair impact you have not only on your constituents, but on the administrators and professionals within all federal agencies. I am confident that your heart and sense of fairness will lead your response for JB.
